Nevada State Parks invites you to experience the majestic Lake Tahoe, tucked between the soaring peaks of the impressive Sierra Nevada mountains.
NASPD 2023 will be held at the Tahoe Blue Center, located in the Stateline, Nevada area of South Lake Tahoe, nestled between Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort and beautiful Lake Tahoe. About an hour from Reno, Nevada, the conference center and hotel are located near several state parks, as well as many shops, restaurants, outdoor excursions and sightseeing adventures.

We are excited to welcome you to Nevada! Here’s information you’ll need to book your flight and schedule transportation. We hope you’ll have time to stay and play while you’re in Nevada.
Reno-Tahoe International Airport is located 56 miles north of Bally’s Lake Tahoe this is the preferred airport for NASPD.
Shuttles will be provided from Reno-Tahoe Airport (RNO) to Bally’s Lake Tahoe and back on your chosen arrival and departure days. The shuttles will run from Monday September 11th through Friday September 15th. Please use this reservation link to book your NASPD airport shuttle. If your flight plans don’t fit within the scheduled shuttles, please email your needs to the Transportation team and every effort will be made to accommodate or assist you in arriving at the Conference.
When you arrive at RNO airport, make your way to the Baggage Claim and look for the South Tahoe Airporter booth to check in. Members of the Nevada Division of State Parks or Travel Nevada staff will check you in and guide you to your NASPD airport shuttle.
If you plan to arrive before or stay after the conference, the South Tahoe Airporter provides a great shuttle service to and from Reno-Tahoe Airport and the Bally’s resort. You can purchase shuttle tickets at their website.

Transportation from the conference venue to all conference events is included in your reservation.

Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
Sacramento International Airport is located 115 miles east of Bally’s Lake Tahoe. No conference shuttle service is available. If you choose to arrive or depart from SMF, you are responsible for your own transportation.
