Devil's Den State Park

2025 Access Grant

Bronco Wild Fund (BWF) is continuing support for America’s State Parks by promoting our shared goal of helping increase access to the outdoors. We are excited to offer funding, distributed in January of 2026, to kick off the new year by funding new programs.

BWF is providing funds for new introductory access programs in state parks. The overall goal is to get more people outdoors, build their skills to connect outside in the future and tackle barriers to engaging in new outdoor activities. Applications/proposals will be reviewed by a panel of BWF stakeholders in early December. Recipients will be selected based on the most compelling proposal/s in each region, up to $15,000 per award. Applications must be submitted through the online form below.

Example introductory access programs:

  • Instruction/workshops for beginning a new outdoor recreation activity (ex: new Learn2 programs, 101 or other introductory/basics offerings)
  • First time offerings – programs that target new visitors to your state park
  • Introduce families to outdoor recreation activities for beginners (ex: experiential camping workshop – overnight series of programs, fair-style 1-day event at-your-own-pace)
  • Target barriers or new audience for your programming, through:
    • Special or expensive equipment (ex: kayaks, climbing gear, etc.)
    • Knowledgeable instruction (ex: photography, climbing, swimming, etc.)
    • Nontraditional age groups (ex: adult beginner swimming, rather than youth)
    • Family programming (ex: concurrent activities or childcare for adults/families)

Apply for funds to offer programs that reduce barriers keeping people from trying new activities or engaging in outdoor recreation. Help introduce more people to the great outdoors!

The deadline to apply is December 2, 2025.
