FL - Hundreds celebrate as park is christened for black activists

Lorraine Mizzell leads a group into the surf for the official wade in during the renaming and reclaiming of the John U. Lloyd Beach State Park to the Dr. Von D. Mizell and Eula Johnson State Park. Lorraine Mizzell was an original wade in participant. For the first time in the state of Florida's 171-year history, a state park was named after blacks who fought to integrate the state's beaches.
