Parks Maintenance Assistant Open Until Filled GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position aims to assist the Superintendent at Fort Bridger State Historic Site in overall site operations, with a particular emphasis on facility and grounds maintenance.
This position aims to assist the Superintendent at Fort Bridger State Historic Site in overall site operations, with a particular emphasis on facility and grounds maintenance. From time to time, other duties will include but are not limited to supervision of seasonal maintenance staff, visitor services, fee collection, gift shop sales, assisting with tours and interpretive programs, assistance with curation and exhibits, and performing site safety and security procedures. Work duties will typically be performed at Fort Bridger SHS. Still, they will also include occasional assignments at other locations within the Shoshone District of Wyoming State Parks, such as Bear River State Park, Piedmont Kilns State Historic Site, or Granger Stage Station State Historic Site.
